So here I am finally decided to take a shot (pun intended). If you are reading this thanks for taking the time to view this site. Family and friends have been asking me why I am doing this so allow me to explain.
Over the past several years I have worked at various level in athletics. My original dream was to work in professional sports. Overtime my views have changed. Now, I want to devote my time to athletes that have aspirations of competing in high school, college, and even the pros.
When I was in high school I loved playing basketball and studying the game. At the age of 17 I experienced a life changing ankle injury. While playing 21 with friends I dislocated my ankle so badly that doctors seriously considered amputating my foot. Thankfully they didn't have to but I did endure over 2 years of physical therapy.
After getting back on track I dislocated the same ankle again playing 1-on-1 at the park. With this I found myself back in rehab. During this time I was wrapping up my bachelor's degree at UIndy and studying for law school. I ended up getting into 2 law schools but put it off to work at Vanderbilt with the women's basketball team. While in school I made sacrifices to help me financially achieve my degree. This meant sleeping in my car for a summer so that I could afford tuition for summer classes, while also working 40/hrs week.
When the time came to attend law school I regretted my decision as soon as I stepped on campus. After a couple weeks I returned to Indy and obtained my MBA. So I created this website to follow my passion and assist other players on their journey. My main goal is to help boys/girls create everlasting memories of their playing days.
I want others to enjoy the sport in ways that I never got to experience. What are you doing differently in today? I encourage you to find your "why?". Once you find that then it becomes "how?". That's where I am at now.
